Hi! Guys, I visited my uncle today. I saw his coin jar cover with dust, then I asked him if I can have it? He said go ahead, its been sitting there for over 40 years. I got home open it, and surprised whats in it. (2 Standing Libery quarter and over 20 Mercury dimes and Rosie). Check out the Quarter, one unknown date but I can see a little of MM, the other one is 1927 MM worn out, but I can sorta tell "S" or at least there is a MM. Help me out if it an S MM. Thanks alot guys!

Congratulations on your silver mine

You have decent photos, but I just can't tell if that is an S or not on the 1927.

Can't tell if it's a 1927-s or not. If it is, it's obviously one of the better dates to have. Either way, it's a nice find!

Thank you every one for the input. Since, he lived in the bay area, there's a possibility. I can see the mark of an S. I will try to get a good closeup picture later on today. Please, pardon me if I am being stubborn because I really want to find the 1927 S for a long time.

@JustCarl. I will check it again once I get home today. As far as I could remember there weren't any key dates for the Merc. I was so excited for the 1927 S SLQ LOL.

A million dollars? That's may guess. Now to read your post and see if I am right. Dang wrong again. Nice of your uncle.
