I can add another Brabant coin, this Toison d'Argent of Philip the Fair (Antwerp mint). It is a one year type in which the sheep faces right. We will see some examples from late 1490s of the previous type where the sheep faces left:

(To put this in perspective: it's still November, but even assuming that we somehow don't get stuck on any date before catching up, we still won't be able to catch up before January.)

Since we have already seen a few Burgundian Netherlands coins issued in the name of Philip the Fair, and we have 3 weeks to go in his reign (and our other historians have been inactive for a while), a few words about this important historical person.

Philip was born in 1478 to Marie of Burgundy (who at the time was Duchess of Burgundy and the Burgundian Netherlands) and Maximilian (Hapsburg) of Austria. Marie died tragically in a riding accident in 1482, before Philip had even reached his 4th birthday. So Maximilian, his father, assumed the regency for his child until he came of age 1494. So, coins of the Burgundian Netherlands minted between 1482 and 1493 bear the title of Maximilian, Archduke of Austria, etc. rather than Philip's (as we will see).
Around the same time that Philip came of age, the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick died, and Maximilian became the new Holy Roman in August 1493.
In 1496 he arranged for Philip to marry Joanna of Castile, the daughter of Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. So, at the turn of the century in 1500, we have Maximilian I as Holy Roman Emperor, Philip as Duke of Brabant and consort to his wife, Joanna who is presumptive heir to the throne of Castile, and they already have two children, the second a male heir, Charles.
When Isabella dies in 1504, Joanna inherits the crown of Castile, with Philip as consort, and the Spanish Hapsburg line of monarchs began.

Philip died unexpectedly in 1506, when his father was still emperor. But his eldest son Charles would succeed Maximilian as both Holy Roman EMperor and King of Spain.
