 I checked COC nothing for 1985 but, and there are some other similar ones listed that are on the left side of the memorial like mine - so maybe? Edited by CoinCents

Hmmm -- speaking of eyes and vision..
I came back for another look at this.. My initial impression was the line ran under all the deveices.. Am I incorrect..? Am I seeing it overtop of some..?
And can you feel it at all, or tell if it is in relief -- elevated above the field..? If yes, I'll stick with my initial call.. If you can't tell if it's higher than the field I may have messed up..

To me it look like something was poured on to the coin or a line drawn on the coin or something on the planchet before it was struck like a line of some type. It looks like a stain rather than a die crack as it doesn't rise from the field from what I can see.

It could be a stain, but better pictures would tell.

Well that's bummer so just PMD. With this one I just can't tell (with my vision) if it is raised, incuse or flat (like a stain). These are the best and closest I can get I started with about 50 snapshots. Thanks for looking Edited by CoinCents

Take a toothpick and run it over that area to see if it is raised or not?

Okay, good idea coop (dah  ) it is flat with the field. So just a scratch that got dirty then. Thanks again everyone |
