So my husband just got back yesterday from a trip to GA. Anytime he has to go on the road he brings me back all of his change, so I've got a whole cup full of goodies to look through including the Dollars. I am hoping to find some good stuff. I started out this morning with this funky looking die chip on Frederick's hand - pretty cool in my opinion.

Just wanted to share and hopefully I'll have more to post.
Thanks
CC

Nice catch CCL I had not seen a Die Chip there before! and it is a substantial size too. Good eye.

Thanks Chase same here, first defect I have found on this particular DC quarter. I am going to check with JC to see if he thinks it meets and IDB rating.

That's a keeper, because of it being in a high grade. Nice find and congratulations!

You're very welcome! It looks like it came out of a OBW BU roll, then got spent later.

Most likely, just heard from JC unfortunately it does not qualify for and IDB.

Die chip. (I won't say what I think it looks like, but probably everyone else has thought of that already also.)
