I can't see any obvious doubling in your pictures, can you point out where you see doubling?

Also it's a DDR if it's on the reverse (Doubled Die Reverse) and a DDO if it's on the obverse (Doubled Die Obverse).

I thought that the bars of the Lincoln memorial where doubled but obviously I was mistaken

Ah, I see it now. that doubling you see is actually part of the normal design.

Yes, from what you are describing, it is a normal part of the design. It's very deceptive to beginners! I'd go to doubleddie.com and read up about true doubled dies and familiarize yourself with "fake" doubling forms! I haven't been on here for a while, so here is my welcome!
