That is what I like about Dansco. They left a slot for the 1913 just in case you got one to put in an Album.
All nice sets shown here. I have two completed sets but both need lots and lots of upgrading.

Thank you to all for sharing these great pictures. I love the look of a set as it is coming together in an album- no matter what stage it is in.

Also, I had never, that I remembered, read about the Racketeer nickels, so thank you. I did some reading on those. I am curious about how do you know if a Racketeer nickel was made then or now?

Not 100% sure, but I'll share my thoughts on this question. By the way, I have never purchased one of these exactly because of the difficulty with knowing when this PMD occurred. Anyway, if the underlying coin is AU or better, then I'd potentially believe that it was plated contemporaneously, but if has worn down below this, then I'd be quite confident that it was done much later. Additionally, I would only believe a coin to be legit if it was dated in the first year of the series ('83).

Only an 1885 left! And a few upgrades...especially the 1890, 1893 and 12-D.

Both the 1886 and 12-S have a light scratch on the obverse that is visible under harsh light at extreme angles. I can live with it.

Thx! It's been a lot of years, but I'm determined to finish this. But it is going to take some time. No fillers for the 1885.
