Amy939 Valued Member United States 84 Posts	Posted 10/05/2018 10:46 pm Yes I'm aware that the 2015 dimes really sucked but this one is over the top worst or maybe yall can tell me how good it is! The date and words on obverse look tripled unless tall confirm its indeed doubled due! There is no initials at all, looks almost as if there is a 2 in front of the real 2, on the silver picture of the date something is after the 5! Anything else standing out that I haven't mentioned? Now the reverse just sux as well especially the E in America plus a few leaves looks doubled as well. Report this Post to the Staff

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 75503 Posts	Posted 10/05/2018 10:51 pm What you have here is actually a severe case of Die Deterioration, with Die Deterioration Doubling. This is all caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets. For some reason, this was very common to happen on 2015 Dimes. They pushed the extreme limits of those dies, so they can get as many strikes out of it as possible. Also the 2nd and 3rd pictures seem to show a 2 before the date as well as something in the very last picture after the date. Any ideas why those are there? Report this Post to the Staff
