I have no idea what happened. I found this one while cherry picking and thought this one was sort of interesting.

That's not an error coin. That's unfortunately Post Strike Damage ( PSD), meaning that it was damaged after it left the U.S. Mint. The metal has been pushed into the side with brutal force. A tool was most likely involved. There's no extra value for this, except for a couple of cents, since it's a Wheat cent.
