What do u think about this euro coin? It seems that there are errors with the metal dying.

I can think for two reasons for what we see:-
1. Counterfeit. Some of the detail is a bit 'mushy', for a coin only 2 years since struck.
2. Differential metal galvanic corrosion.

Reason No. 2:
Mostly an intuitive guess on my part - but it would need the right acidic? environment.

I suggest this as a possibility - not as a definite cause.
