Lookig at this penny, it looks like it might have the infamous re-stamoed D (50%-0 in my mind). I also wonder if this thing was zinced as its new in appearnce. I got it when I bought several rolls of wheats years ago. Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thank you!

I will take a look, I think its the way the light is bouncing off the coin. I may try getting more natural light tomorrow providing we are cloud free!!
Your Steel Wheat cent has been replated/reproceesed which makes your coin into a cull unfortunately. The numismatic value is gone and your coin is only worth 2 to 3 Cents now.
Also what you are seeing is die wear. It flows SE from the mint mark area. A RPM would be raised on the field. The image on the right is the RPM-001. Note how it is raised on the die in the shape of the mint mark punch?
