Hi everybody! Looking for a consensus from the community on the best educational resources. A little about me: I have been buying all types of silver and gold coins for a few years now, mostly US junk silver, I also have been amassing pennies for a while (lincolns and indians). I've been watching BRSH videos on youtube and some of the other guys for a few years now. My goal is to start going through the pennies and look for varieties and errors that are readily saleable for a substantial enough premium to make it worth selling on ebay or another site that will take a fee. I'm prepared to have coins graded if the value warrants it. What books/websites/other resources should I look into for the cents. I have been considering purchasing the CherryPickers Guide to meet this goal. Your thoughts?

Another resource we tend to forget about. Tanner Scott (Tanman2001 on CCF) runs the website. crdievarieties.com
Errers and Varietys.

I would say don't expect to get rich quick off errors and varieties, it's a small sub-set of an increasing small amount of coin collectors. Finding buyers can be tricky, especially for the minor stuff.

Also if you want to know something ask a question here or use the search option on previous threads. Here is a thread with lots of thread links on it. Just type in this: CoopHome in search, or just click on the blue link here. Lots of information on these with lots of images. Page 2 has an updated information box on it.

I would also suggest a good price guide. Some Indian heads and early wheat cents have value without varieties. NGC and PCGS have online price guides. Keep in mind that these prices are basically estimates. One more thing to add. When you find something please post it here before listing it for sale as you did with your FRN's.

@realnick -
Hey there - my best advice would be to visit a local coin show and talk to other collectors. You can also visit dealer booths and see what's on the market.
Good luck out there!
