That's a beautiful ending, for an Unc............They are simply losing their popularity.... Love the Uncirc's, IMO, They have always been the underdog, in any coin.. PS, Anyone can locate a proof, in PF-70, but not always true for an Uncirculated version......

I missed the boat....
Thanks Fox for the continued update.
So it's safe to say that based on this: "Last reported sales number as of Sunday is 138,891" We can assume that the mintage is around 139K?

The 2018 W Burnished has one of lowest mintages, so why are MS70 grade 2012 W and 2016 W burnished coins commanding higher prices on ebay?

Just came across this topic. I have collected the Burnished Silver Eagles since they came out. I get them on the enrollment from the mint. I usually buy a graded one also. I just got the 2018 last month on ebay for $35, didn't even know they were sold out. Now the best price on ebay today is $55. There doesn't seem to be much demand for these anyway, but I've always liked West Point uncirculated coins since they have only made proofs most of the time. I wouldn't be surprised if next years mintage is even less than this years or 2018, seem to go down a bit every year until the mint just decides to quit making them...

I noticed HSN was selling a 2019 4th of July PCGS American Silver Eagle with a mintage of 1000. It has a Statue of Liberty label. Anybody have any idea what's the big deal about this one? It looks like a regular finish ASE.

If they claim a mintage of 1000, then that's just pure BS. Perhaps PCGS graded 1000 on the 4th of July? Regardless, it's the same coin with a fancy label.

Lol, that's what it looks like to be Bret, I did a search on this and the only thing I could find was that HSN must have a special arrangement with PCGS to push them as limited edition MS70's . Pass.

I forgot about the 2019-S proof ASE and only remembered when I got the reminder from the mint. Order placed and my set will be complete once again in a few days.
