I haven't hardly seen any Lincoln postings here. Time to bring it on with my latest acquisition! This replaces a brown AU I had.

This is a beautiful cent Thad and I would give it an MS-65 RD if it weren't for that dark spot at the base of Mr. Lincoln's jaw. Unless it's just a shadow, I think that spot would limit the grade to no better than a '64. Overall I expect it has more eye appeal than many coins that end up in an MS-65 slab.

There's no dark spot at the base of the jaw. That's my poor photography skills is all.

This coin has only 3 major hits to it, one below IN GOD, on the forehead/hair and on the left wheathead lines. It's almost mark-free other than those. The color and luster are very original with some nice cartwheel action. Based on my comparisons to PCGS, this is MS64-65 RD.....I gave it a 65 because in-hand the eye appeal is stunning!

Now that's what I call "Eye Appeal". Just gotta love that color. I wish more of my IHC's looked like this. Very nice upgrade BadThad !
