I've only seen pictures of the packaging. Is it a blister pack so the coins can't be removed without damaging the package? Or are the coins in capsules?

Still deciding whether to cave in and send in the Kennedy (actually both coins) to get a "set" label...I am haunted by the Congrats set ASE that was nothing special and sells for over a grand with the set label...bet not too many of these end up graded No need to say you buy the coin not the label...I get it Seven unopened sets sitting there.... Inquiring minds want to know ....but I saved money not submitting the garbage W cents....yeah....justification.... |

These were available for bout 5 mins this morning. Managed to get a few since I missed out the first time around.

Is there anything special about the half dollar in the rocket set? The prices on ebay are ridiculous for this set. Edited by TheForce

Picked up 5 this morning. From what I could tell they had close to 100 available. Just seeing if I can get a PL half or two.

According to NGC..nothing special about the half....but remember, these are routing MS coins so a 69 grade would be awesome...a 68 would be great. This is a major reason for the lack of presales available...no clue what they will grade |

Well I know one guy got 50, another guy got 6, I picked up 5 and there were 14 left at that time. So that is 75 I know for sure sold today plus what ever you picked up. I was able to tell there were 14 left by putting 100 in my bag after I made my purchase to see how many were left and it said 14 available.

I missed out on this and now it's too late. I refuse to pay $25-$40 for this.

  Received my rockets yesterday and this is what the box looked like. Took these pics just in case I was going to have to file a claim but thankfully they were ok. There definitely is no QC when it comes to packaging. |
