Need a little more description from you as to what you are seeing with the coin in hand. Do you suspect a mint error?

ITO , I agree with E&V about the Die Deterioration . If possible, could you provide a detailed close up of the edge of your coin. Also , could you compare the diameter of your cent to another. |

It looks normal to me. It should be 19mm in diameter and weigh right around 2.5 grams.  In Memory of Crazyb0 12-26-1951 to 7-27-2020

From what I see it is much thinner than other pennies. Diameter seems exactly the same as others tho. Here's a few pics I took, I tried my best to show the different aspects of the coin... I don't know much about mint errors but the coin seemed Pretty irregular to me and wanted to know about it... Thanks as always!     |

Ok it is good to know that the diameter is correct but it seems slightly thin. How is the weight? Also a little low?

Unfortunately I don't have a squale at home to weight it.

Ok perhaps a very slightly thin planchet then. Off the top of my head, I don't know the mint tolerance for this dimension.

Rims aren't struck up leaving bevels from the rim to the edge but that isn't too unusual.
