1953 Mexico 25 centavos (purity: 0.3, ASW: 1 g):
I've noticed that when you drop this particular coin, it gives a dull thud not unlike the sound a clad quarter makes. The distinctive tone associated with silver is essentially absent. Seems like the more you debase the coinage, the less of a ring it gives when dropped, which makes sense I guess.
