Hello, was offered this coin for sale as a 1918/7 S SLQ, it's not overly clear to me but it does seem to have a die clash by the right knee which is supposedly a key identifier. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help!

I'm coming to the conclusion that this is a "no".

How about a nice close-up of the date?

Unfortunately I don't have the coin in hand, and these are the only pictures I can get of it. But I'm strongly leaning towards no, the clash seems to be common across a number of dies, and this piece has no trace of the clash through the bottom loop of the 8.

I would think the seller would provide you with a close-up if he's legit.
Rest in Peace

Another example of a Coin that should probably be in a NGC or PCGS if it is the overdate.

But it doesn't look like it.

No. The Bottom inside of the loop of the 8 is more open than the 1918/7 is. Keep looking!

Not the overdate. As Coinhunter mentioned on the overdate the 7 comes through the lower loop of the 8 blocking the opening almost completely. The lower opening on the OP coin is much too round. This is a 18/7 S.
