The scan doesn't do this coin justice, its a BU and you could comb your hair in it. I am very proud of this purchase

Folgers, nice MS Morgan, but it's kinda hard to put an exact grade on it. There's what appears to be slight bag marks on Liberty's face and in front of her on the field with some also on the field next to the Eagle's left wing, but as you mentioned, scans don't show luster very well and tend to put marks on a coin which either aren't there or are actually very faint. Put a shotgun to my head and I'd call it MS-64 or MS-65 at PCGS, might even go to 66, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

I see 4 hits on the cheek, and some roughing of the luster on the obvervse, and a little bit on the reverse.

My estimation is that coin is a lock at MS-64 .

Its a pretty coin !!!

Rick, at least you didn't find an error in it... if it had one, you'd have spotted it a mile away!

Speaking of errors (coins, that is) and your expertise with them, you might want to consult with Rick's Name Dropped.

ok, here is another coin, a 1961 franklin, I tried to use a digi cam to take the pic but its like taking a pic of a mirror, any suggestion on how I can do that so it will show the pure beauty of the coin. I didn't include the other side because I scanned the front of the coin I was let down by my scanner lol

Nice Morgan. For the Morgan I'd say MS-64 at MOST but because of the scattered marks and because it doesn't have that attractive luster as it should have if it were MS-64 I'd say MS-63 IMO. B12
