I'm hoping this one is laggitamit and not lighting. I wish the pics of WE showed the center top point nicely doubled but they seem to not show doubling
Would love to see better pics

Sorry, I don't think this is the DDO. The doubling on LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST would be easily visible in full coin pics if it were the real one.

Here's some pics of the real one:

Thanks for the new pics ! Regrettably I'm not seeing the doubling in them. The lighting looks to have played tricks on you in your first set of pics.

That's weird. I really thought it was DDO-001, but I guess not.

Thank you for the second set of images.
LIBERTY was not showing doubling in the first set of images and the second set seems to confirm that.

The images of the date were certainly convincing but the calls for full coins hots were necessary to help attribute.

Also, don't you think it's weird that the mintmark also looks like it may be doubled?

I came late to this post but the mint mark was the first problem I spotted.

Looks like Machine Doubling and low angle lighting. On the real deal you could spot it even from the later images posted:

Just so I am understanding this clearly. The general consensus is that this coin is just another machine doubled cent? With bad lighting to blame for the initial misidentification?
