I believe this coin has been demonetized since Nederland joined the Eurozone. junjiesalvador Valued Member Philippines 212 Posts	Posted 12/05/2008 04:33 am Hi, the coin is not a double die. Here are some microscope shots which shows that it is a Die Deterioration Doubling. The oddity involves all the letters on the obverse. The is a classical example like the one on the obverse of a 1992P Washington 25c. If a doubled die somehow had greater offset on the top of letters than the base, you should at least see distinct serif separation, vs a big blob heaped on the letters. Report this Post to the Staff
