Story of the good news and the bad news... Found this MS doubled die in a B/U roll of 1941 cents (the good news). The bad news was it literally was the worst condition coin in the roll (some nice MS-66 coins in there), and it was the only one in there. Seems like it's been raining these around here lately and finally get my upgrade to MS although not a super pretty one. Well it is still a doubled die. Most people would be rejoicing to find this.As Red Green Says: "If women don't find you handsome, hope they find you handy."

Well isn't that a nice predicament to be in. Having two of that variety. Congratulations.

Amazing find! Condition was never a huge bother for me, but I have had some rolls where the spottiest coin would have the variety!

Yes! This is the only '41 DDO I have yet to find, and that's just a cracking specimen. Went to a coin show this past weekend looking for one specifically, found none, but man your example is excellent. |
