I found a 1985D today it's real nice and I'm thinking it's a DDR being I can't find anything on that variety I figured I'd post it and see what happens. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/21/2019 01:05 am It is not a doubled die. Note the side by side. On a doubled die the devices would be larger than normal. But on this coin the die was reduced by a die polishing. Even smaller than normal devices. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm not even close to grasping it yet. I'm for sure closer then I was though. Question so whenever I'm looking at it.. do I look straight down at the devices or do I look at an angle or does it depend on direction of the spread and circumstance of the coin.
