I don't know how stupid I am but I went through a jar of wheat cents that I've looked through at least five times and SOMEHOW found a semi-key date. Anyway, I'm guessing VG 8 on this one, but not for sure. What do you guys think?

I"ll say VG-10 because of weak wheat stalks, but the obverse is better.

for me too much detail in the ear, hair and stocks, this coin has an overall look of F15 in my book. nice find

Well I'm going to meet everyone in the middle with F-12 . Looks like an original no problem coin . Just good honest wear .

Solid F12. Wheat stalks don't show the wear of a VG coin. Obverse shows some detail in hair and separation of the jaw and cheek, and the cheek and forehead.
