You will have to ask Kurt about that; it is a coin I won from him and I used his picture. I thought about adjusting it, but then I wanted to see who would notice. Well, it has been over four months since I changed it. Congratulations, you win! BTW, if you compare the avatar to his original, the avatar is even more golden. In that case, we need to as Mom why because she handles all of the custom avatars!

11/01/2008 : 10:32:56 PM <-- start 11/08/2008 : 11:12:56 AM <-- now So it's less than 12 hours left before you've officially stumped everyone - and have to reveal the answer. There was a rule like that, right?

You wrote the rules! Quote: 4. If there is no correct guess in one week, the coin's type should be disclosed by the person who has posted it. I am still stumped but have not given up.

No wonder nobody guessed it... Now, since you've stumped everyone, you could post an easy coin so that the game moves on

Huh? The KG looks inverted and in a different position than it should be.

It is "inverted", by photoshopping - it's a halfpenny, not a penny. But I don't think there's enough information left behind to give an exact KM#. The tiny dot left behind below the star indicates it's Perth Mint, but it could be 41, 42, 49 or 61.

I suppose I assumed it was obvious, but I should add, "Australia"...

Quote: It is "inverted", by photoshopping Since when is that allowed. I see that rewriting the rules is necessary.

I had to be a bit sneaky with such an easy one!
The info regarding the KG flipped and different location of star etc. made it "quite" easy to figure out it was a half penny and not a penny.
Sap is correct.
I learned something there. From the pics in Krause I thought the KM#61 was the only one with a dot!

Quote: I learned something there... That's what this thread is all about - learning new things! OK, here's my coin... the oval bit has been edited out, and the edge inscription blurred just enough to obscure what would have been a very obvious hint...
