Ohh.. sorry! it was me getting you confused with someone else...(Christine)
Hmmm now let me see, that coin looks like a Netherlands East Indies 2.5 Cents I am selling but it isn't quite the same! It's in the type of writing...(Javanese/Malayan)
So it must be a Netherlands East Indies 1 Cent from the series 1936-1945. I still don't know what the flowers are on the reverse side shown in the photo but my book says the reverse design is of a Corn of Rice.
Does this mean I have to go again?

No? It does look like coins from the 1830/1 uprising.. in fact the crown details and the not so well placed letters suggest it's a
5 zlotych 1831 - C#124 (in my old Krause).

I went ahead absentmindedly and posted my quezzie without thinking I have to be verified first...I must have been confident! I love that Javanese script, very artistic. I'm just surprised they coins aren't worth more than the book values suggest. Maybe one day they will be.

I was just giving you grief Quote: I love that Javanese script, very artistic. It's fine they aren't worth too much now - means later when the value goes up, we'll be in fine shape.
