Hello forum members,

I have a 1999 Connecticut quarter that appears to be a Planchet error.
Does anybody have any experience with this type of error?

I'm not spotting anything unusual.

Why do you think it is a planchet error?

to CCF. Looks like a nice golden tone that has formed on it. Not an error.

Gold plated. An outside company (after it had left the mint) did these on the State Quarter series in a number of finishes including color, gold and platinum.
