I have only been collecting coins for about 1 and a half years.and I am wondering if this 1963 nickel has any significant value or should I place it back in the change jar...lol

You need to tell us what errors you think the coins have.

I was looking at the date as well as what looks like mechanical tooling or circulation hazard please zoom in on my pics and look at the lettering on heads and tail sides
Rest in Peace

Looks like damage from a counting/wrapping or vending machine.

to the CCF!

Unfortunately, this belongs in the change jar, but good eye for an early collector!

On the reverse it looks like I see coin wrapper damage and a VLDS reverse die. Spender.

I really like the background color though.

I'd recommend doing some reading/googling about what is an error, what is a variety. Learn about the possibilities so that you are not just trying to find something that isn't there. Circulated coins can end up looking all sorts of crazy ways, but it almost always just because of post mint damage.
