1971 S DDO On The Mint Mark?

I found this 71 s and inspected it extremely close and can kinda see a second s in the mint mark

If there is a second mint mark, that does not make it a DDO= doubled die obverse it makes it a RPM=repunched mint mark. Wait for a pro to chime in on the possible RPM.

Well on the pre-1989 cents there can't be a DDO on the mintmark. Post 1990 there could be a DDO on the mintmark area. (1995-D is an example of one) So if this was a variety, then it would be a RPM, not a DDO on a 1971-S. But this is not a RPM either. Just Machine Doubling on that area and probably on other devices you have images of. The glare is hiding the MD. The flatness of the devices and the too much light is spot lighting, or too dim to see what you are seeing.
