Ningcumpoop Valued Member Canada 220 Posts	Posted 11/19/2019 5:33 pm I found this one today, thought I'd share. The G in Gratia is closed up. It looks more like a 6. The picture is a normal 1900 H Cent on top. Any ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

Sir Derrin Valued Member United States 177 Posts	Posted 11/19/2019 8:36 pm It would show more tapering if it had been drilled and the sides would be smooth and not textured like that... looks more like a break of some kind to me... far from an expert but I have drilled a LOT of holes in metal :) Report this Post to the Staff
Ningcumpoop Valued Member Canada 220 Posts	Posted 11/19/2019 8:43 pm After looking at it some more I agree. The ridge is not tapered, the field inside is flat. I wish I had a microscope camera in this case. I have seen smeared letters before do some funky things...maybe this is a case of that...dunno. Report this Post to the Staff
