They are truly impressive KurtS, There was a German publication that is similar to Krause but for German coins. In it was a brief comment (in German) that mentioned that private strikes in period. I don't know if my collection really has a "crown jewl". My most valuable coin would have to be my 1909-s lincoln. But a coin in my collection that I certainly enjoy a lot pictured below.
