Hi!

I have searched the interweb high and low - and this Web Site's Forum and can't find anything close to it. Has anyone seen a $10 bill like this? Is it real?

Thank you in advance for your insight. You guys know a lot and I want to know more about this!

Welcome to CCF.

Great error note. It appears genuine. The first print (back) went fine but then the sheet shifted before the second print where the misalignment occurred. The third print looks centered correctly. Is it yours ?

Thank you!

Yes it's mine. I was going through father's old Coins and found it between the last page and back hard cover of a 1961 Guide Book of United States coins.

Get it into a quality currency sleeve.

You can get them at your local coin shop or online.

Nice error note! Misaligned 2nd printing (or out-of-register).

There were originally 31 other ones printed that were just like it. You could do an auction search (ha.com) and see if any others from that sheet of 32 have been sold over the years. That would give you an idea of value, too!

Get it in to a nice quality currency holder ASAP.

Thanks for sharing pics!

Thank you all! This is exciting! I've tucked it away in a envelope sleeve Father used for special stamps until I get the hard sleeve from Amazon.

I looked at Heritage and they sold one from the same sheet several years ago (graded 64) for a little north of 800$.
