I received these years ago from my grandfather and would appreciate feedback regarding monetary value. The top pict is the 1-50 sequential run (no fold or any other marks) and the bottom one is a * outlier. Thanks in advance.
It's hard to tell but I'm guessing the notes are uncirculated.
The 1957-57A-57B $1 Silver Certificates were printed from July 1957 up to early 1965. Many were saved. Many packs of 100 were saved. They are inexpensive and easy to find making 95% of the value of these in sentimental value. The star note is worth more than the non-star note. What is that near the top margin of the bottom note, rust marks ?
Put them in Mylar currency sleeves and add to your collection or save/share them with young collectors. Many a wonderful collection started out with humble beginnings.
