I'd have it looking like this first thing when the bank opened especially if they are crisp chances are you may find more.

While the quality is obviously sub-par, I don't believe these will command any kind of premium.
Think of the millions of sheets of paper passing through the presses at blinding speed, for notes that are only expected to have an 18-month lifespan. These are not collector items and they are not treated that way.

Greasy, those who preface comments by "not meant to be judgmental" are always judgmental.
Your comment has nothing to do with the topic and is a personal diatribe. There are so many other ways to spend a $1 note. Why would you say that in this topic?

I'm guessing if you magnified most of our notes you would find irregularities, many like the OP's note. The notes printed at the BEP are supposed to look good at a normal reading distance, not through a loop. It's still an official document of sorts with signatures from government officials and serial numbers printed on a bond type security paper. It appears to be within BEP tolerances.

Slightly too much ink was used and it has been allowed to 'run' a tiny bit. A common enough minor error, with Note printing. If this sort of error is minor enough, then the Note bearing such an error will be issued into circulation anyway. Tolerable, but poor quality control in my opinion.
