Britain is well-represented for 1883. 1883 - Shilling (another part of that late 1950s collection, see envelope) 1883 - "Gothic" Florin One of the most commonly seen dates in the entire series. If you find a Gothic florin and can't read the date, you have better than average odds of it being an 1859 or an 1883. 1883 - Half Crown A lovely circulated example, but someone wiped the obverse at some point, and there's a dig on the reverse.

Back to coins again for me, my best for 1882 can't compare to the glittering parade of Morgans. But I am proud of this beauty UK Halfpenny 1882H in EF condition with some lustre remaining, a very sharp piece which I paid very little for. My finest halfpenny before 1936.

Princetane - that's a lovely halfpenny! Pepactonius - some great coins as usual. Love the Newfoundland 2 dollars! My own British coins for 1882 aren't that special! Halfpenny: Penny - Like the halfpenny, struck at the Heaton Mint in Birmingham, hence the 'H' mintmark. 1882 pennies without the H are extremely rare, unless they are lowball 1882_H ones with the mintmark worn off! Shilling: Halfcrown:

The rest of my 1882 is hilarious A very worn 1882 penny which makes yours look great NumisRob! A decent but verdigris infused 10 Rappen of Switzerland, this is the 4th year of its issue, 2020 will be the 142nd!
