Princetane Pillar of the Community 4628 Posts	Posted 07/02/2020 02:42 am Love the Flying Eagle cents and Gobrecht Seated Liberty coinage - the plain and elegant mid 19th century designs do more for me than Barber and Morgan sorry. And I believe we will start to see Large cents and Half Cents again soon. The Tornesi is an interesting piece too - I am sure that King also had some stamps issued in the late 1850s (Ferdinand) and he considered himself a looker, so beautiful he made cancelling his face harshly on the stamps a priosnable offense! Here is my sole 1857 submission, a very small but cute one. A Maundy penny of Victoria - the strange thing about it, is that its only VF and fairly grubby, meaning it probably entered circulation for a short time! Report this Post to the Staff
