Yeah, I've got a pretty solid 1373. I'm hopping on a plane in a couple of hours, but will load it up so it's ready to post tomorrow morning/late tonight.

Wow. ..1373, who would have thunk it! A great coin tdziemia! The chap portrayed looks like another hipster to me. Is that one of your collection themes? Now I guess we wait for either a sneaky 1372 to appear, or for the 7th edition to catch up. I must say that I have really enjoyed being a part of this 'game', albeit that I have come into it quite late.

Your spectacular series of AH dated coins from this time helped get us here! Quote: The chap portrayed looks like another hipster to me. Is that one of your collection themes? On Florence coins it's John the Baptist all the time until the Medici introduce some other themes in the mid-1500s. Since I collect coins with images of saints, Florence coins help me play the OFEY game while not creating a new theme (the few attributable Cologne coins I have from the 1370s/1380s work the same way, with St. Peter). Hoping that I won't offend anyone with this numismatic comparison. St. John on medieval coins (which draw from biblical descriptions of him) have more in common with portrayals of Brunswick "wildmen" than, say a later renaissance radiant portrayal of a saint (i.e. they are both shown wearing animal furs, somewhat unkempt hair, etc.)

Well done my friends! Well done. AH 775 is another year that is somewhat evenly split between 1374 CE and 1373 CE. If by chance anyone has one, feel free to post it now. Otherwise, we are now looking for 1372 CE (AH 773)

I do not really mind the wait. We need the 7th to catch up.

My next are 1371, 70 and 69. I'm happy to save them for the 7th. 1372 seems to be a sticking point for now.

A nail-biting scenario....I am bidding on a 1372 coin. Should I win the bidding, I won't play it until I receive the coin in hand. Delivery is usually 4 to 5 weeks after the successful bidder is determined, but sometimes it can arrive in 3 weeks..... And of course, it is quite possible that someone may play a 1372 before I get the chance.....either way it may appear in the 6th or the 7th I'm excited.... I know.... I should get out more.
