I believe they did rolls and bags, even 250 coin boxes for the others. I have no doubt they will do the same for Bush.

I just want the three for the Dansco. Do not care how I get them. However, I would not be opposed to a Coin & Chronicles set at some point.

Quote: So they have to do it, but does it have to be released this year even though the "2020" inscription is mandated? An interesting question. Normally by law a coin has to bear the date in which it was struck. But since the legislation specifically says the coins are to bear the date 2020, they could actually strike these next year if they needed or wanted to, and still date them 2020.

I believe Gerald Ford was a 1-term president.
Does anyone have any insight when the George H W Bush $1 coin will be released?

80 hours of press time if they use a single press. Us four presses and you can make 3.6 million in one day.

Both Truman and Johnson served less than two full terms. Of the two, Johnson served the shortest time (five years and almost two full months).

My point was, all of the U.S. Presidents in the C&C series, save JFK, were elected to or served part of two terms:
16 Lincoln: Assassinated early in 2nd term 26 Roosevelt* 33 Truman** 34 Eisenhower* 35 Kennedy: Assassinated in 1st term 36 Johnson** 40 Reagan*
* Elected to and served two full terms ** Assumed Presidency and elected to 2nd term
...and I've totally derailed this topic. Apologies.
I really do want a Bush Sr. coin and, while I'm not optimistic about it, I would also like a PNC as well!

The bill was actually introduced in early 2019 but no action was taken on it until just the last few weeks.

It sounds interesting. Does anyone know where is it possible to see the design of this new coin? And who developed it? I would love to see it at least online. And hopefully, we will see it in circulation next year. I have several rare coins in my collection. I am waiting to add new ones to it.

The final designs were announced on 07-28-2020 for the George H.W. Bush dollar coin and the Barbara Bush gold coin. The Barbara Bush coin will go on sale Aug. 20 and the Mint will announce the on-sale date for the George H.W. Bush dollar coin later in the year. http://news.coinupdate.com/united-s...e-gold-coin/
