Quote: Quite a nice looking piece, although it is in 'very used' condition... It's a piece of 'serienscheine' notgeld so was not issued for actual circulation.............although this note is a good example that some actually did! Very interesting!

You'll love this though...here is the front side: It's a 2m note but this one states 'Drei' (3)!!!!! The more you find out about the notgeld issues, with all the different oddities, errors and such like.....hopefully the more you get drawn to build up a collection

Here is a very colourful set of 3 'Reutergeld': Reutergeld are some of the most common types of notgeld available for a collector and are part of the category known as 'serienscheine'.

The owner of the shop or business ('Leopold Glaser') has hand-signed the reverses!

2 notes from Auerbach now, which have been cancelled - 1 with a hole-punch and the other with a cut corner cancellation: Each note with a hand-written signature, make them a nice 'pair' of hyper-inflation notgeld issues for anyone's banknote and notgeld collection. They date from the latter half of 1923.
