2 notes from Auerbach now, which have been cancelled - 1 with a hole-punch and the other with a cut corner cancellation... Each note with a hand-written signature, make them a nice 'pair' of hyper-inflation notgeld issues for anyone's banknote and notgeld collection. They date from the latter half of 1923.
Nice pair!

2 x 'BILLIONS' pieces now, from Duderstadt: a 10 & a 20 Billionen mark notes:

German-Notgeld-Collector-Of-46-Years,-From-Uk.
With their low serial numbers, they are a great pair of notes. The date of issue, as the face-values are in BILLIONS, is going to be late 1923. The actual date of issue, '29 November 1923', is almost at the height of the hyper-inflationary period.

Here is a nice complete set of 3 'BILLION' mark notes, issued in Dinslaken:

German-Notgeld-Collector-Of-46-Years,-From-Uk.

The very high face-values mean that these would have been issued in late 1923. The actual date of issue is '9 November 1923'.

A really pleasing looking 10m note from Crefeld now, dating from 1918. But who or what trade is the man on the left?

German-Notgeld-Collector-Of-46-Years,-From-Uk.

Any ideas from anyone? I will inform people tomorrow.......
