There something about this cent that makes me think this is a 1990 no S mint mark... I found this today going thru my change, for some reason it caught my eye

That's a normal circulation strike cent minted in Philadelphia worth $.01, not the proof no-S variety that's quite valuable.

Ok, thank you!! There is a S under the year, if u move the coin side to side u can see something in the die, its not visible to see if your looking at the coin.. Again thank you

Here a pic of the mint mark, if your looking at the coin u can't see no mint mark "bare", but theres definitely S in the die

I suspect it's damage of some sort. The coin is not, and never was, a proof so it could not have an S mintmark.

I tried my best to get the S to show.. u can't see it on the coin if u were to look at it.

Your Lincoln Cent is called a business strike meaning it was produced for normal circulation from either the Philly mint or Denver mint ; Not a proof coin . For your coin to be of great value it would have to be a proof struct coin without the S mint mark Which would be a mint error .
