Hello,
Do you think that the coin surface coloration is due to allow mix error?
Is it considered as error by NGC or PCGS? It is made from copper-nickel.

I rather think it is due to poor mixing of the alloy, analogous to the "woody" effect seen on British, Canadian and US pennies.

I have a Palestine 20 mils dated 1935 and a 5 mils 1927 and both show this effect.
