Been trying to pick one of these for years. First time I've ever pulled it off.

Pretty sure this is a VAM 5 based on the MM, would appreciate confirmation. I need to get it slabbed so I can put it in my SSDC registry (along with like 50 other Morgans I need to get slabbed!!)

Dang Adam, you're on a VAM roll brother...

I would say your attribution is correct based on the obverse die gouges and the mint mark being a micro.

I'm not even sure who will slab the privately made VAMs anymore. Maybe ANACS and I think ICG will.

Congrats!!

Thanks Dave!

Hopefully ANACS will still slab them, or I'll send them to John for VSS.

Awesome cherry!
I have looked myself and have never found 1.
I'd send to JB in his PCGS bulk deal.

Only problem is, apparently PCGS won't slab these anymore.

Quick edit: Weighed it today. It's 25.6 grams. As a rather unscientific test, I "ring tested" it vs. a few other coins. The closest ring match was a late Victorian half-crown, which is 0.925; that's in line with JR/TD/DC and others who have found the Micro O's to be between .920-.940 fineness. This one has the wavy surfaces, as usual.
