His initials can be found at the base of the Roosevelt and Franklin busts. He also sculpted, although did not design, the Purple Heart medal, the Yangtze Service Medal, and various other medals and commemorative coins. " I think the answer is above. His initials are on the design of the Roosevelt dime and Franklin half. He didn't carve them into any. That would be considered damage. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
