Appreciate the update larsjan. I understand the importance of keeping some details close to the chest until things are more put together.

jakrispies: No Problem-Thank You for the clarification. I sold that book on ebay eons ago... slim book, marbled paper boards, a few woodcuts. realeswatcher: We all know that it was in the Boston office of the company, in excellent Hands. Those Hands have departed and are doing what they did before they entered the corporate world. No harm, no foul, but no more "leaking" about the OP's item Larsjan: I hope to All That Is Holy that you have the Numismatic Story of the Millenium (altho the SaddleBack & Kentucky Gold finds were pretty good)! I'm in an area where if coins like yours could be found, they would be-and they are not. It'd be a Dream Come True

Quote: Dear all,
Here I would like to give a sign of life and report that the story is not over yet. Please know that I immediately read every message posted in this topic and that I am grateful for all the support I still receive after all these years. Unfortunately, I still can't give you an update because I promised not to release any more information. Believe me I will do that as soon as I can, the story started here with you, and however it turns out, it will end here. The research takes a lot of time, and that is a good thing, it means that it is done very thoroughly.
Thank you all so much and I hope to be able to report something soon. It's nice to know that you're still reading this forum. We will keep an eye on all your updates

Absolutely incredible. It's been such a long time I've had to go back through the thread to refresh my memory of this long journey.
