I figure most of us are currently in some form of self-isolation with plenty of time to spare. I thought I'd open up a chance to share/show off.

I'll start with my favorite coin, a 1939 silver dollar graded ICCS Matte SP-66, ex-Victoria North collection. The pictures really don't do it justice.

That's a tough question.
At first I thought my 1895-O dime Surely the most valuable of my coins.
But then I considered wisdom in buying a coin.
My 'wisest' choice was a 1913-S quarter.
The dealer had two, side by side. Both were VG and priced 50 dollars apart. One, although correctly graded, paled in comparison to the more expensive example. The eye appeal made it a no brainer. I bought the more expensive example.
I have never regretted my decision. Most satisfying.
With a mintage of only 40,000 there are not many of these babies around. Not with eye appeal.

Nice circulation cameo!
Raises the eye appeal of a lower grade coin from Blah to Beauty.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

My opinion exactly, DBM. Imagine a complete set in VG all looking like this.

Currently THE only one graded in the top spot at PCGS.
RCM really hit it out of the park on this design.
My current Personal Modern Favorite.

That is like picking a favourite child from all the series I collect...

I suppose this one might be up there as one of the last ones I would ever sell. I don't know of any other George V small cent off-metal to exist.

Superb coin Dollarman. An old friend. Glad it is in good hands. When it sold in a Michael Walsh sale his comment was
something along the line "So this is what a Specimen was meant to look like"

My all time favorite error LMC. I call it "See Through" because the reverse die details show through the thin center of the coin. The metal has spread to the size of a half dollar at the widest point.
