Hey hey diggers!
Here we go, its digging time again!
First day out in 2020, and it was a pretty decent day. Although the sun was shining and the birds were singing the many kilos of mud stuck to my boots was enough to slow me down enough on a heavily worked over site. Last years potatoes are gone and the crop of coins were ready.
Well...coin, nailed another great token today, a beauty of a McCausland penny ( Ch # PE-2)
This one of my nicer ones! I include a pic of the back of this uniface coin to show the pie crust edge these are well known to have. Only a welterweight in their world (weighs in at 6.70 grams) but a great example. Still showing corrosion but I'm very happy with the overall condition.

Probably a fake.
Brought over by the Vikings about 1000 years ago.
Just took a while for someone to find it. ;-)
