This coin sold in 2016 for only $49 and that's with a $19 buyer's fee. The cost of having a coin even as nice as this certified would be well over the value when sold. You have to figure in the cost of a TPG membership, the certification fee and shipping to and from the grading company with insurance. Certification with PCGS or NGC will cost more that $100 in most cases. While your coin is nice, it has to be PERFECT to justify the cost. Of the 2,652,525,824 cents minted in 1964 at the Philadelphia mint, less than 1000 have been graded at MS 66 with just 40 coins grading MS 67. Because so many of these coins were minted, only the very best are truly worth certification. The coin you have is just worth face value.
