This isn't my photo so the details lack; but I'm curious about this one...anyone see the same discrepancy I do? ?

An-Odd-1951-Ha'penny
Such as...where is the mint mark? (There should be either a Y. or "PL" this year).
And, unless it's simply that hand-held photo shake, I'm seeing doubling as well; compare the ending "A" in AUSTRALIA to the first.

Just looking for a little feedback, since I was offered this for sale. Thanks group! ;D

There are 3 varieties in 1951, No MM, Y. and PL. If this is a no MM, according to Maccas 15th edition p77, it's the best one to get. Values quoted are a bit higher than for the other 2 varieties.

Oh ...I see it's actually listed in Maccas, although the coin was minted in Perth too. Interesting, thanks Nancy!
No huge premium here, and I'm unsure on grade...that's ebay, skip...unless that thickening on AUSTRALIA is something.

G'day,
quote: "... minted in Perth"
I looked up Renniks 2007: it shows the "no MM" as being minted by H&S, Birmingham.
But the mintage figures are a bit obscure:
it shows the Perth mintage as "included above".

Peter it is interesting that Renniks say that. They are however incorrect.
The no mintmark 1951 halfpennies were minted in Perth (there is documentary evidence in the archives of the Perth Mint to support this).
