Hello.

I have this 1926-D Peace dollar, (AU-50?), with a curved die crack across the base of Liberty's neck that looks just like a necklace.

Does anyone know if this is an established variety, or a serendipitous unique minor error?

Thanks, in advance . . .

Good question.
Die cracks at this point of a Peace dollar are fairly common.
Lots of other cool cracks can be seen on Peace dollars here
