Certainly lightly cleaned... past the point of grading straight, for me.

This is one of those dates where this is a trap coin. LEGIT AU is tough/$100 coin... XF and down, basically junk box.

I actually snagged one of this date not long ago because (what I judged to be) undergrading at XF made it available cheap. For giggles, go to Heritage's archives and sift through all the "XF40-45" and "AU50-53" (ticking those options include XF and AU "details" grades), as linked below, and see what occasionally slips into AU holders. Makes one shake their head...
